Requirements for entry into the RIBN program are:
- A minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required for all high school course work.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale in all college courses is required (includes courses taken at all universities and/or community colleges).
Additional requirements may be necessary depending on the partner community college you apply to.
How to Apply
To apply to the RIBN program, you must be a graduating high-school senior. First, an application must be submitted to UNCP. To apply, click here: http://www.uncp.edu/admissions-aid/undergraduate-admissions
After you have been accepted to UNCP, you need to apply to one of the partner community colleges:
After you receive acceptance from UNCP AND one of the partner community colleges, you must fill out a RIBN interest form. This form can be downloaded by clicking here: Interest Form
After completing this form, send the form and a copy of your acceptance letter from UNCP AND the partner community college to:

- After receiving the interest form and copies of required accepted letters, a RIBN application will be mailed to qualified individuals.
Admission to the RIBN program is extremely competetive. It is important to start the application process early in the year to ensure adequate amout of time to receive, review and complete all of the paperwork.
