2016 Lumbee Book Talk will feature authors Patricia Lowry Chavis, Joan C. Blackwell and JoJo Brooks Shifflett, June 30

Lumbee authors Patricia (Pat) Lowry Chavis, Joan C. Blackwell and JoJo Brooks Shifflett will discuss their work during Lumbee Homecoming.

Sponsored by the American Indian Studies Department, the Bookstore and the Southeast Indian Studies Program, the Lumbee Book Talk (PDF) will be held Thursday, June 30, at 2 p.m. in the Jazzman's Cafe & Bakery, UNCP Bookstore. The event features Lumbee authors and authors who write about the Lumbee Indians.

Copies of books will be available for purchase and autograph. The event is free and open to the public.
