Pinkerton opening reception at Le Petit Cafe
A Fayetteville, N.C., artist Pinkerton taught art at UNCP, St. Andrews and Fayetteville State University. After retiring from the Army, Pinkerton studied watercolor and sculpture in San Miguel, Mexico for two years. Upon returning to Fayetteville, he completed a B.A. degree in visual arts from Fayetteville State University. Pinkerton is presently a full-time studio artist who exhibits locally and regionally in his areas of expertise: sculpture, watercolor and jewelry. Dr. John and Margie Labadie, members of UNC Pembroke’s art faculty, coordinate art exhibitions at Le Petite Café, which is located at 104 South Main Street, Red Springs, N.C.
