University Theatre Auditions for Neil Simon's farce "Rumors."
Five men and five women are needed. Faculty and staff are encouraged to
audition. Rehearsals are at night generally from Monday through Thursday
from 6:30-9 p.m. Auditions will be on the main stage of the Givens Performing
Arts Center at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 9-10. Scripts
may be checked out from the main office in the GPAC Lobby. Contact Chet

Speaker Series.
Continuing
- Tarleton Blackwell's
exhibit continues on display at the Mint Museum in Charlotte until September
7. Blackwell holds the Martha Beach Chair in Art. Nine works from his
"Hog Series" are being displayed with work from five other
artists in a show entitled "Passing."
- Pool hours. The
new pool operating hours for faculty and staff are Monday - Friday 1:15-2
p.m. The hours for open swim are Monday - Thursday 3- 5 p.m. and 7-8:30
p.m. and Saturday 3-5 p.m.
