Transfer Advising

The objective of this committee is to enhance faculty training and transfer student utilization of campus-wide resources:

Progression:

  • Provide two workshops/seminars annually to train faculty/staff on the academic and personal needs of transfer students and Native American students and the available campus resources.

  • As part of the Progression model, faculty development opportunities will be made available at UNCP to educate faculty and staff about the barriers to educational attainment that transfer students experience, as well as the unique educational needs of this subpopulation of UNCP's student body.

  • This committee will consist of 5-8 members.

  • Committee will meet on a regular basis to provide oversight for this objective.
