This site provides narratives specific to each of the SACS Core Requirements, Comprehensive Standards, and Federal Requirements.  Each narrative explains how the college fulfills a specific requirement, and each section provides links to appropriate evidence.

We are delighted that you are taking the time to review our University's submission. UNC Pembroke has a long and remarkable history dating back to 1887. Our story is one of building opportunities and transforming lives and communities. UNCP is a great place to get a high quality education with one of the 45 undergraduate and 17 graduate degree programs we offer.

Of all the accolades that we have earned over the years - "a Best Southeastern College," a "most affordable university" (Princeton Review), a "most diverse" university and a top ranking university for the number of our small class sizes (U.S. News) - the thing we value most is that our students rate their relationship with our faculty extraordinarily high on satisfaction surveys. Teaching and learning are at the forefront of everything we do.

I have worked at UNCP for more than 38 years and am proud of this University. We have a dedicated faculty and staff, who put student success first.
