The Fall 2009 Teaching Fellows Application Night will be held on Tuesday, September 29. All 2009-1020 Teaching Fellows applicants are invited to UNCP to work on their Teaching Fellow application. Mr. Danny Bland, Ms. Karen Granger and current UNCP Fellows will be here to answer questions. Invitations will be sent to all high schools in August.

The Fall 2009 Education Night will be held on Tuesday, October 13. All Teaching Fellow applicants, current UNCP students, and transfer students interested in Teaching are invited to attend.

All 2009-2010 Teaching Fellows Applications will be due to Liasion Counselors by October 16, 2009. Application materials will not be available after this date.

The 2009-2010 North Carolina Teacher of the Year, Ms. Jessica Garner a Spanish Teacher at Porter Ridge High School, will be speak on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 3:30 pm in the School of Education.

Fall Open House dates are : Saturday, October 17 and Saturday, November 21. The UNCP Teaching Fellows Program will have students available to talk about the scholarship and the application process at both events.
