The Leadership Council is the governing body for the Teaching Fellows Program. This is an elected group of students who make a year long commitment to serve their campus program. The Leadership Council (LC) meets weekly or bi-monthly to discuss the current program and make plans for upcoming semesters. All UNCP Teaching Fellows are encouraged to run for a position on the Leadership Council.
The UNCP Teaching Fellow Leadership Council strives to encourage and initiate constant growth and development so that the UNCP Teaching Fellows Program will become recognized throughout the state as a premier teacher enrichment program. Our foundations of Leadership, Service, and Educational Excellence build lasting community ties, develop positive service ethics and help to develop tomorrow’s leaders in education.
