    Yesterday evening Piedmont Natural Gas disconnected natural gas service to main campus in order prevent potential hazards. As of this morning, gas service has not been restored. Utility crews are working continuously to repair the segment and restore service as soon as possible.

    It is important to know faculty, staff, students and visitors on campus are not in immediate danger because of any potential gs leaks. The disruption in service may affect some campus activity throughout the day, including dining services. Dining facilities are working to bring in the necessary resources to provide limited hot meal options. We appreciate your patience and will update you as additional information becomes available.

Prior to the Beginning of Each Semester

New Students

  1. Activate your network/BraveWeb account.  Your acceptance letter contains your activation code (secret code). 
    https://braveweb.uncp.edu/account/start

  2. Access your BraveMail account.
     

New & Returning Students

  1. Set up BraveMail on a mobile device.

  2. Register for courses.
  3. Check to see if you can access your courses on Blackboard. http://blackboard.uncp.edu (Each semester, courses are made available by faculty. In many cases, this is done just prior to the start of the class.)
  4. Register your computer for ResNet. (This applies only to students living in University Housing residence halls, Village Apartments and University Courtyard Apartments and must be done from within a housing unit.)  View step-by-step instructions.
