I am an incoming student and need to create a BraveWeb and/or Blackboard account.
Blackboard and BraveWeb use the same account credentials. Creating an account for one grants access to both. Changing your password for one changes it for both.
To create an account, you need to proceed to BraveWeb and click on the “New User” link in the top left corner of the page, above the log in box. After selecting “Student” you will see a page asking for your last name, zip code and secret code. Filling out and submitting this form will start the Web site to walk you through account creation. If you do not have a secret code, you will need to contact Admissions at 910.521.6262.

This error occurs when your last name, zip code and date of admission are identical to another incoming student. You will need to call the DoIT Help Desk at 910.521.6260 to have this issue corrected. Due to the nature of the error, it is best to call and not email the Help Desk, for a speedy resolution.
I was trying to create my BraveWeb account and got the following message: "No account was found for last name 'XXXXX', zip code '00000' and the secret code you supplied."
1) Please make sure you are entering a secret code as requested. If you do not have or know your secret code, please contact Admissions at 910.521.6262.
2) If you are a re-admit student who has been gone for one academic year or less and you still remember your old password, you do not need to create an account at this time.

I am faculty/staff and cannot log in to BraveWeb with my student user name to check grades for a class I am taking.
Faculty and staff will need to sign into BraveWeb with their faculty/staff accounts. If you are taking classes, your student information will be accessible from Banner Self Service.
