When a position is filled, the following paperwork must be submitted to the Work Study Office or to Human Resources (non-work study positions) to finalize the hiring and pay process:
- Student Assignment Agreement (Word or PDF).
- I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
- W-4 and NC-4 forms completed by the student.
- Direct Deposit (Excel worksheet) form completed by the student.
In addition, the supervisor must then complete the E-Verify Department of Homeland Security online employment verification process on the first day the student begins the work assignment if the student has not been employed on campus in the past. Hawk Assistantships are exempt from this process.
