International Buddy Program

Adjusting to a new cultural environment can be exciting and challenging. New international students at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke often have a lot of questions and concerns during their first weeks on IBPcampus. The International Buddy Program was created to ease the transition, with current U.S. students helping new international students understand the United States and American college life.

The support provided by the Buddy Program is intended to present students with the opportunity to create a social network and community atmosphere through regular social events organized throughout the academic year as well as through individual meetings with their buddies/mentors.
