Leading faculty toward a shared vision of excellence in nursing educational programs and in scholarship, service, and community engagement.
Focused on issues related mostly to nursing education and practice: Competencies of ADN graduates; cognitive predictors of program success and completion of RN licensure exam of BSN students; professional behaviors, characteristics and attitudes among nurses; change in nursing practice; student engagement; and ability of the TEAS to predict student success in nursing school. She has disseminated the results of her scholarship via conference presentations at local, regional, and national venues.
Dr. Synowiez has also co-authored a number of grant proposals for projects serving to improve the quality and accessibility of the nursing program such as clinical site development and student engagement.
