April 6: Native American Graduate School Interest Day
We will be taking a select few Native American students, specifically interested in the science fields, to get a behind the scenes look at The Graduate School at UNC Chapel Hill. For more information, please stop by Mimosa and talk with Mark Hunt or Doug Smith.

April 6: Career Exploration Dinner
Invitation only dinner for students still exploring career choices and majors at UNC Pembroke. The Career Center sponsors this event in conjunction with the Sophomore Connection.

April 16: Focus Groups
Invitation only focus groups to gauge academic confidence, student involvement, and tutoring usage of current sophomores.

April 24: Graduate School Interest Day
We will be taking students to get more information on applying to Graduate School, whether it be at UNC or far away from here. Transportation provided to UNC Chapel Hill. Get help and the answers you need about Graduate School. For more information, please stop by Mimosa and speak with Mark Hunt or Doug Smith.

 

March 2009

March 26: Second Year Roundtable, 3 p.m., UC 251
We are asking for your participation in this event that will cover different topics. We will be discussing UNC Pembroke and you - how your needs have or have not been met as a second-year student here. Suggestions for our program for next year's second year students, etc. Cookies and drinks provided. We are just looking for a few people willing to speak their mind about the topics at hand, which will hopefully help improve the delivery of services on campus.
