The UNCP Teacher Education Program has adopted the Teacher Ccandidate Work Sample as a means of assessing the impact of teacher candidates on P-12 student learning and to improve performance in key areas and to show an increase in the ability to facilitate the learning of all students.

The TCSW is a requirement for successful completion of the Teacher Education Program.  Each candidate should prepare and submit their work sample to the respective program coordinator.

The TCSW Manual is available to assist candidates in preparation of their product.  It is available in both WORD and PDF formats.  The URLS are presented below:
