Curriculum lab
The Curriculum Lab
The Curriculum Lab, housed in the Education Center, is an essential part of the teacher education program. It contains professional and instructional materials supporting all licensure programs in the Teacher Education Program. The Lab has textbooks used in PK-12 schools with supporting technological resources, teaching units, North Carolina Standard Course of Study, instructional media and equipment, professional books and journals, curriculum outlines, Praxis I review materials, equipment and resources for the construction of instructional materials, and satellite access for professional development service delivery.

The Praxis Series Examinations
Students seeking admission to the Teacher Education Program must satisfactorily complete the Praxis I Series - three subtests in reading, writing, and mathematics.
All persons qualifying for a teaching license in North Carolina must pass the designated Praxis II specialty area tests.
