Sociology club
The Applied Sociology Club (ASC) provides a means for students to interact (beyond the classroom), engage in intellectual exchange and serve their communities. ASC community service projects and activities provide a wide range of opportunities for students to apply sociological principles and thereby better understand and appreciate the underlying theoretical concepts. By providing opportunities for individual and community interaction and involvement, the club promotes a synthesis between sociological theory and practice and thereby helps prepare individuals for the world beyond academia.
