The "Student of the Month" is an award that recognizes UNCP students who have made significant contributions to the university in academics, service, and campus involvement.

Faculty, students, and staff nominate recipients of this award. The winner of this award is decided by majority vote from the SGA Student of the Month Awards Committee. The Student of the Year is decided by a vote of the committee between each of the student of the month winners.

Congratulations to the 2011-2012 Academic Year Student of the Month Recipients:

  • Student of the Year (2011-2012) - Daisy Irra
