a) Student Issues: The following are issues that were discussed with Dr. Jones this semseter.

Q: Can a covering be placed over the security phones because the buttons are frozen at night?
A: Dr. Jones is looking into it

Q: Why does the Braves card cost $20 if it malfunctions?
A: If it is due to normal ware-and-tare then students should not be charged, but if it appears to be damaged due to misuse of the card, then students will have to pay the regular fee.

Q: Who is responsible for the sidewalks to the University Courtyard Apartments?
A: The Department of Transportation

Q: When will the construction on the sidewalks be complete?
A: Project Monitor Bobby Locklear Provided this answer:
The project is set in three phases. Each phase is to take 30 days to complete. The schedule from the contractor states that completion of the phases as follows:
Phase 1: Start Nov. 4, 2002 Complete Nov. 27, 2002
Phase 2: Start Nov. 27, 2002 Complete Dec. 30, 2002
Phase 3: Start Jan. 6, 2003 Complete February 4, 2003
The layout of the phases are as follows:
Phase 1 began on Nov. 5 and was planned to be completed by Nov. 27. Due to the whether, this was not possible. Because of this delay, all phases will be rescheduled. Phase 1 includes the demo and the new work installed from the end of the BA building, past the first entrance, and ends at the second entrance at the pine tree.
Phase 2 will begin at the second entrance of the BA building, and include the sidewalk leading to the Edu. Building, all walks to the entrance of the Edu. building and adjacent to it.
Phase 3 will begin with a new sidewalk to be installed between the Edu. and BA buildings and include all the handicap walks at the rear of the BA building.
However, the weather plays a major role in the completion date of the project.

Q: Who is responsible for the construction of sidewalks leading to the University Courtyard Apartments?
A: The Department of Transportation
Dean Swiney and the room reservation ad hoc committee have finalized the housing procedure for the 2003-2004 school year and the brochures are currently being printed.
