Spring 2009 Academic Calendar

November 10th	Monday	8 am Undergraduate and Graduate registration
December 15th	Monday	Drop pre-registered students for non-payment
January 2nd	Friday	5 pm Payment due for all registered students
January 4th	Sunday	All residence halls open
January 5th	Monday	Classes begin
Jan 5th - 9th	Mon - Fri	Late registration fee applies
January 9th	Friday	5 pm Last day to reduce course load and receive a refund
January 9th	Friday	5 pm Last day for undergraduates to register or add a class
January 12th	Monday	Course registrations will be canceled for non-payment
January 16th	Friday	Census - Last day to withdraw from the University and receive 90% refund of charges
January 19th	Monday	Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (University closed)
February 3rd	Tuesday	Deadline for immunizations
February 4th	Wednesday	Last day to withdraw from the University and receive 50% refund of charges
March 2nd - 7th	Mon - Sat	Spring Break
March 2nd	Monday	Undergraduate mid-semester grades due at noon
March 5th	Thursday	Last day to withdraw from the University and receive 25% refund of charges
March 6th	Friday	Last day for prorated refunds for students withdrawing from the University
March 9th	Monday	8 am Classes resume
March 11th - 12th	Wed - Thurs	Grade Finale
March 16th	Monday	Last day for undergraduates to drop a class with a "W" grade
March 25th	Wednesday	Department Majors Meeting - Advisement for Fall 2009
March 30th	Monday	Early registration for Summer and Fall 2009 begins
April 1st	Wednesday	Deadline for applying for Fall 2009 Graduation
April 10th	Friday	Good Friday Holiday (University Closed)
April 13th	Monday	Last day for undergraduates to withdraw from the University with documentation
April 16th	Thursday	Registration open for all students
April 24th	Friday	Classes end
April 27th - May 1st	Mon - Fri	Final Examinations
May 1st	Friday	5 pm All residence halls close
May 2nd	Saturday	10 am Spring Commencement
May 4th	Monday	12 noon Final grades due
