regional community resources collaboration network
Through
a grant from the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, the Regional Center
has begun the development of the Regional Community Resources Collaboration
Network. The purpose of the project is to establish a network through
which community service organizations can learn about services being
provided in other communities, collaborate on projects and, pursue operational
funding through a united effort. This project involves conducting an
inventory of community services organizations throughout the nine county
region served by the University. In addition to this online guide book,
this data is being compiled into a regional guide book for printing
and distribution to every organization included in the inventory. The
project also involves the provision of free region-wide training, this
web page and, an automated telephone directory system. Finally, a newsletter
will be developed as a communication tool for every
member of the network.
This on-line guidebook is still in the development process. Therefore,
not all information is complete and resource information will continually
be added to this site. The information you see here has been collected
via individual contacts with organizations as well as through permission
to reprint the Montgomery County Community Resources Directory.
If you have questions/corrections or would like to add your organization
to this list, please contact the UNCP Regional Center at (910) 522-8410
or send email to rc@uncp.edu! Thank
you!!!
