The
Police and Public Safety Department at The University of North Carolina
at Pembroke is a full-service law enforcement agency, whose primary
responsibility is the protection of life and property on the University
campus.
The department's
13 police officers, trained professionals certified by the North Carolina
Criminal Justice Training and Standards Division, provide the campus
with police protection 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The department
offers a wide range of crime prevention and awareness programs which
are designed to ensure a continued safe and secure campus environment.
However, keeping our campus safe requires the cooperation of the entire
campus.
