Bryant named Associate Vice Chancellor for Safety and Emergency Operations

Royal Travis Bryant has been appointed associate vice chancellor for campus safety and emergency operations starting June 1.
The associate vice chancellor will coordinate emergency preparedness and response planning efforts for UNC Pembroke, according to Dr. Diane Jones, vice chancellor for student affairs. Bryant will streamline campus safety, emergency planning efforts, threat assessment and disaster recovering planning across university departments.
Bryant will serve as a liaison with administration and departments on campus as well as with UNC General Administration, organizations throughout local municipalities, Robeson County and the state.
The associate vice chancellor's office will be in the Student Affairs suite, room 242, Lumbee Hall.
