Cross country has strong start

Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams are off to a good start for the season in the Sept. 8 UNCP Invitational and the Aug. 31 USC/ Gamecock Invitational.
At the home event, Giovanni Bilotta and Jesse McEntire finished 3rd and 4th place with respective times of 20:14.58 and 20.22.15. The entire men’s team placed 3rd overall in the event.
The women’s side had consecutive finishes with Ivy Ramsay and Tierra McIntosh at 6th and 7th place. The women’s team placed 5th in the overall competition.
Jesse McEntire was first place in the USC Invitational.
