The search for a head coach for the football team may come to an end as early as mid-December, according to athletics director Dan Kenney.
The football advisory committee recently completed telephone interviews of “10 outstanding candidates,” Kenney said.
Three finalists have been invited to campus to conduct interviews. The interviews will take place sometime before commencement.
“A decision could be made as early as the week of Dec. 12,” Kenney said.
Kenney does not expect to have an announcement before commencement, however.
“All three of them were very impressive to the football advisory committee, all have head coaching experience on the college level and are excited about coming to take a look at the community,” Kenney said of the finalists. |
