Richardson PBC player of week again Senior Danielle Richardson has been named the Peach Belt Conference women’s Basketball Player of the Week for a second time this season. She becomes only the second player in UNCP history to garner the honor twice in one season. Softball opens 4-0UNCP softball swept doubleheaders over St. Andrews Feb. 12 and Coker Feb. 13 to begin their season at 4-0. Pitcher Nicole McCorkle picked up two wins in as many starts and a save in one relief appearance. Tennis starts 2-1The Lady Braves, ranked No. 8 in the region, doused St. Andrews 9-0 on Feb. 8, fell to Clayton State 6-3 on Feb. 12 and blanked Belmont Abbey 9-0 on Feb.13. |
