A wallet was stolen Feb. 6 from the purse of a professor in the Oxendine building. The next day she filed a police report after finding charges on her two credit cards.
The cards were tracked north, as they were used in Wal-mart in Lumberton and Hope Mills, a McDonald’s in St. Pauls, and three restaurants and two car washes in Goldsboro.
Where the cards were used led police to believe that Goldsboro is the suspect’s place of residence.
Photos were taken of the suspect at the McDonald’s, which are provided to The Pine Needle by the campus police.
If anyone has any information about the subject in the photos, please contact Det. Sgt. Ed Locklear at 910-521-6869 or 910-521-6235. Or file an anonymous report at www.uncp.edu/police. |
