Students charged with possession, intent to sell

Campus police got a call on Feb. 22 to check an apartment in Village apartments.             

After knocking on the door, the officers smelled marijuana and entered the apartment to speak with the subjects.

As one student tried to forcibly exit the apartment, one officer stopped and searched him, finding a bag of marijuana.             
           
The student was arrested for underage consumption and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. 

His court date was scheduled for March 14 in Pembroke.            
           
During the same incident, a second student was not cooperative, according to the report.

The student was charged initially with resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.            
           
When taken to the magistrate’s office, an officer patted down the second student and found 19 small bags of marijuana. 

He was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell.             
           
No court date has been set.
