Streets around campus plagued by accidents By Adam Fenwick A car accident occurred Feb. 12 shortly after 5 p.m. on Third Street as a female driver attempted to pull into lot 2 in front of the Sampson-Livermore Library. There were no injuries.
There was traffic congestion at the time, the officer said. Freeman stated this was the second accident of the day in front of McDonald’s. Freeman said that he hopes students will become more aware of the traffic and their speed in front of the University because of the number of accidents occurring on Third Street. “Be aware of the traffic and your speed,” Freeman said. “A lot of it has to do with speed, not just being aware of your surroundings,” continued Freeman. |
