Two cars were involved in a collision on March 14 at 3 p.m.

Jason Chandler, 18, a UNCP freshman, was involved in the accident when a white Lincoln going east tried to turn left into McDonald's and collided with his black Nissan as he attempted to turn right into the University.

According to Pembroke Police Sgt. Hunt, the driver of the Lincoln was charged with fault, after failing to yield.

"He pulled out in front of me. My air bag busted and my car is totaled. I really think we need a stoplight," Chandler said.
