UNCP’s logo steering committee holds last meeting

After three months of deliberation and debate the Steering Committee met for the final time as a group on April 11.

With the support of the community, the Lumbee nation and students, UNCP will now send their findings to the Minorities Interest Opportunities Committee of the NCAA.

UNCP must have the report compiled, reviewed and endorsed by the Board of Trustees by the end of April, so it can be at NCAA headquarters by May 1.
