Open letter to students from Provost Roger Brown

On behalf of the faculty, staff and administrators in Academic Affairs at
UNC Pembroke, I wish to express my sincere appreciation and congratulations
to the students for their responsible and cooperative actions following the
emergency closure of the Dial Building. Students made it possible to
resume classes and activities on remarkably short notice and with a minimum
of disruption and confusion. This was a real test of our UNCP spirit, and
you the students behaved admirably.
