Campus Crime Report

Pyrotechnics/Fireworks
(Oct. 24)- Officers responded to Wellons Hall in reference to fireworks. A student was throwing fireworks out of a suite bathroom. Officers observed the suspect attempt to light a firecracker. The suspect was charged on a state citation for pyrotechnics violation.

Simple Assault
(Oct. 21)- An officer responded to the Intramural field in reference to a disturbance. After speaking with the facility manager, it was determined that two students were involved in a verbal confrontation. A student was taken into custody and charged on a campus level for “harassing, abusing, or threatening another” and “assault.”

Breaking, Entering, and Larceny
(Oct. 26)- A University employee notified Campus Police in reference to her office being broken into. The officer notified that entry was made through the ceiling. There were pieces of the ceiling lying on the floor in the office. U.S. currency in the amount of $120 was stolen from the office.

Injury to Personal Property
(Oct. 22)- A student who was parking in Lot 26 reported that his windshield was cracked. Some type of alcoholic beverage was dripping from the hood of the vehicle. Damages total $200.
