Spike Lee closes Speaker SeriesSpike Lee

Spike Lee will speak on Monday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. in GPAC.

The last of the Distinguished Speaker Series, Lee will talk to students about pop culture, filmmaking, current issues and goal setting.

Lee has made a name for himself as an actor, director, writer and producer. He has created such movies as “Do The Right Thing,” “Malcom X,” and “25th Hour.”

Since then, he has done commercial work for ESPN, AT&T and Levi’s.

Tickets are free for UNCP students with ID, $5 for faculty and staff and $10 for guests.
