Lilith Fair’s Rodie Ray coming to UNCP

By Carina Bledsoe
Staff Writer

Rodie Ray will be the second performance in UNCP’s Premium Blend Coffeehouse. She will grace the stage with the sounds that have gained her status among pop’s biggest stars.

She has shared the stage with Sarah McLachlan in the Lilith Fair and also with Bonnie Raitt.

“She’s a great addition to the coffeehouse series,” said James Bass, assistant director of Student Activities, who’s looking forward to Ray’s performance.

Her laid back type of music is perfect for those people wishing to sit back and have a sip of hot coffee.

“With the nice fall weather we’ve been having, her smooth mellow sounds would be a complement to the weather,” Bass concluded.

So come out and chill with a cup of coffee and Ray’s music in the UC lounge on Oct.14 at 8 p.m.
