New clothing store attracts students

Trend Settas is located beside Domino’s on W. Third Street. The store offers students a discount when they present their student I.D. cards.

A new urban clothing store, Trend Settas, is now open in Pembroke. It is one of many stores that has been added since the population growth at UNCP.

Trend Settas sells shoes, clothing and accessories.

Store owner, Byron Smith said, “I plan on bringing the hottest and latest clothing styles to the students and the community of Pembroke, and at an unbeatable price.”

Smith said he takes pride in selling authentic clothing and guarantees you will find no bootleg items in Trend Settas.

Trend Settas has famous brands, such as Gino Green Globel, Blac Label and Greedy Genius.

Trend Settas is open Monday- Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The store is located at 412 W. Third St. beside Dominos.

Smith said he is giving 20 percent off to students who present their Brave Card.
