Game show pits clubs in trivia By Carol Franch “Clubs,” the new TV game show pairing campus groups in trivia matches, is part of an introductory broadcasting course taught by Mike DeCinti of Mass Communications. Students enrolled in the course came up with ideas for what their show would involve, DeCinti said. “The idea of a game show came up, and I was excited because I have wanted a game show for a long time,” he said. Any and all groups around campus are welcome to participate. Five shows are planned. The first is taping March 30 at 3 p.m. For the five planned shows, 10 different groups will be participating.
DeCinti’s students have been hard at work building and painting props. Contestants will be questioned on various topics such as pop culture. |
