‘Showbiz 2006’ comes to Laurinburg

The Laurinburg Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Scotland County Business and Industry Expo “Showbiz 2006" on Thursday and Friday, March 30-31 at the National Guard Armory in Laurinburg.

“Showbiz will be open to the public and will include demonstrations, entertainment, food and exhibitors representing a variety of businesses and industries in Scotland County. A kickoff breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 30th for all exhibitors at the WR Dulin Center at the Community Health and Rehabilitation Center on the campus of Scotland Memorial Hospital” says Jocelyn Quick, Program Director.

 There will be between 30-35 different businesses participating in the event.
           
“Showbiz is an opportunity for you to exhibit/advertise information about UNCP’s programs to bring Scotland County residents closer to the University” says Dr. Glen G. Burnette Jr., Vice Chancellor for University and Community Relations.

The deadline for applications is March 6, 2006.
