Pembroke Place Apartments greets MTV celebrities

Ace and Cyrus of MTV’s Real World were scheduled for Pembroke Place Apartment’s April 24 opening.    

A barbecue and opening meet and greet to draw awareness for breast cancer and show interested renters took place from 3-6 p.m.            

Free food and drinks, a live DJ and local vendors gave out prizes.  A Nintendo Wii will be given away at Blackwater Grille in Lumberton that night.            
           
Pembroke Place is located across from Dial Building  next to the Baptist Student Union at 490 Prospect Road.            

Place is giving tours by appointment and expects to have the apartments open before the projected move-in date of Aug. 12. 
           
There will be an after-party at Blackwater Grill in Lumberton following the meet and greet with specials starting at 10 p.m open to ages 18 and up.
