Exam stress break returns Dec. 4-6 By Shereka BlueStaff Writer The week of exams set for Dec. 4-8 is not only exam week, but also “Exam Stress Break” week. “Exam Stress Break is what we have decided to call this event,” said George Gressman, assistant director of counseling and testing. This is the opposite of exam week: fun and relaxation. “Exam Stress Break has become popular throughout campus,” Gressman said. Most of the week’s events will take place on the second floor, also known as the balcony, of the university center. The week will include a variety of therapeutic activities to promote a decline in the level of stress that students may experience. Activities include free manicures, massages, and quiet rooms. The week will also allow students to participate in various hands on crafts, such as creating stress balls. Other hands on crafts will include holiday gift bags, magnets, cards and ornaments. The exact times and locations of all the events will be announced and posted throughout the UNCP campus. |
