Art professor Tarleton Blackwell advises sophomore Joseph Ballard
on his painting. Blackwell will leave UNCP at the end of this semester
after filling the Martha Beach Endowed Art Chair’s five-year term.
Now, the professorship must be awarded to a newly recruited faculty member.
