Dean Thomas Leach set to retire after 32 years of service By Shereka BlueAssistant News Editor Provost Charles Harrington announced the retirement of Professor Thomas Leach as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the end of the academic year. "I was proud to be part of the accomplishments of 'all' members of this university, a group of people working together to make things happen,” Dean Leach said. “I feel pride for the institution, the people and the community. All of these accomplishments are a result of people working together and pulling together to make things happen.” Dr. Harrington appointed Dr. Tom Dooling, associate professor of physics, to replace Dr. Flowers as the chair of Chemistry and Physics.
