Spectators impressed by ‘Lost In Yonkers’ By Robert DeckertStaff Writer Montana Repertory Theatre presented Neil Simon’s award winning play, “Lost in Yonkers,” on April 5 at the Givens Performance Arts Center. The seven cast members performed the play in the scenery of Grandma Kurnitz’s house, in Yonkers, NY, 1942. Playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1991. Simon also won a Tony Award for Best Play the same year. The Montana Rep Company is based at The University of Montana in Missoula and has been touring for 39 years. “It was really great,” sophomore Raymond Pearson said. “It felt like being the audience to an actual TV show.” |
