Nominations being accepted for awards

The UNCP Faculty Awards Committee is taking nominations until Feb. 24 for the UNCP Outstanding Teacher Awards, the Dial Award for Research and Creative Work and the Dial Award for Community Service.

Faculty eligible for nomination for the Outstanding Teaching Award must be full-time who have taught at UNCP for at least two years, held full-time faculty appointments this year and received no other Outstanding Teacher Awards within the last four years.

Nominees for the Dial Awards cannot have received that specific Dial Award in the last seven years and the work(s) for which they are being nominated must have been completed while at UNCP.

Students, faculty, staff and alumni are encouraged to submit letters of nomination for any of the awards.
