Pembroke Magazine number 29 (1997) is a special Daphne Athas issue.  Eighty-one pages are devoted to Athas's fiction and poetry.  Ferruccio Brugnaro is also featured.  There are three essays on Thomas Wolfe's life and work — by Reid Huntley, Joanne Marshall Mauldin, and Morton I. Teicher.  And there are lots of poems by Anthony Abbott, Merrill Leffler, Jeffery Beam, Ann Goldsmith, and others.  The issue is 280 pages long.
