Victor Dalmas, Jr., who had served as managing editor, edited Pembroke Magazine number 11 (1979), an issue devoted to the writings of Erskine Caldwell.  Then, Shelby Stephenson, poet and teacher, assumed the editorship in January 1979, and he has edited all subsequent issues.
