SERVICES

The Office of Sponsored Research and Programs (OSRP) supports The University of North Carolina at Pembroke faculty and staff in their pursuit of external funding for research and sponsored programs. The Office also serves as the central coordination point for all research and sponsored program grants and contracts, and provides training and technical assistance with all phases of proposal preparation and submission, including:

• identification of funding sources
• workshops in proposal writing and budget development
• partnership building
• proposal narrative and budget development assistance
• administrative review and approval of proposals
• reproduction and mailing of completed proposals for timely submission
• electronic proposal submission
• negotiation and acceptance of awards
• new award briefing
• compliance guidance

Individuals are encouraged to contact the Office at their earliest convenience when first considering external funding for research projects or programs.
