For students that have previously attended a New Student Orientation Session (Session 1-6), on campus housing opens Monday, August 12, 2013 from 8:00 am-12:00 noon.

Please check the appropriate option of whether your family members plan to attend:

Have you been admitted to any Living and Learning Community?*

Do you plan to be an athlete (only if you have been selected for the team) or play in the marching band?*

Do you have any responsibilities outside of your education that limit your availability to take classes?*

Your English placement will be contingent upon your SAT scores and high school GPA. However, our English Composition course does offer an opportunity to be enrolled in either a standard course or Plus One course. The Plus One sections (ENG 1020) of ENG 1050 include a one-hour-a-week writing lab of 6 or 7 students each. During this lab, you will have a chance to work with your professor on the writing assignments you are doing in ENG 1050. You won't be assigned additional work, but instead will have the opportunity to improve the work assigned in your composition class. The topics covered in the Plus One are determined by student needs. In order to determine the best choice for you, please click the description below that best suits you.*
I learn best with one on one instructor support. I appreciate frequent small group work with other students. I would like additional opportunities to ask questions. I would like additional opportunities to discuss challenging readings. While I do not agree with all of the statements in the third selection, most of it applies to me.
