social justice symposium

The Office of Multicultural and Minority Affairs and the Social Justice Symposium Committee are proud to sponsor the first annual Social Justice Symposium entitled,  “Creating Balance In An Unjust World,"
an appropriate conference, addressing vital issues of local, state, national and global concern.

This informative and thought-provoking symposium will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 beginning at 8:30 am on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke's University Center Annex Assembly Room.

We are pleased to have reowned activist, Sister Helen Prejean and author of the critically acclaimed book, "Dead Man Walking"
 to serve as our Keynote Speaker.
