Managing WebEx Recordings

In WebEx, the My Recorded Meetings page allows you to view and manage your meeting recordings.

  • Meetings that you recorded through the meeting site are automatically listed on your Meeting Center > My Recorded Meetings page and your My WebEx > My Files > My Recordings page.
  • Meetings that you recorded on your local computer need to be uploaded manually.
  • The option to stream a recording is only available for recording files that were recorded through the meeting site.
  • Selecting to enable or disable a recording affects the recording everywhere that it is published on your WebEx Service Web site.

Manage Meeting Recordings

Step 1   Log in to your WebEx site.

Step 2   Go to My WebEx > My Files. The My WebEx Files page appears.

Step 3   Select the My Recordings tab.

Step 4   You can do one or more of the following:                           

Upload a meeting recording

  1. Select Add Recording.
  2. Complete the form and select Save.

Share a meeting recording through an email message

  1. Select the envelope icon for the recording you want to share.
  2. Complete the form and select Send.

Edit information about a meeting recording

  1. Select the More (...) icon for the recording you want to edit.
  2. Select More (...).
  3. Make your changes and select Save.

Download the meeting recording

  1. Select the More (...) icon for the recording you want to download.
  2. Select Download. A download dialog box appears.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Download a Player to replay the recording from your computer

  1. Select the “Meeting Center” tab
  2. Select Downloads and browse to the “Recorder and Player” section
  3. Select “Recording and Playback Page”
  4. Download the most appropriate player
    • For Windows
      1. Select Download for WRF
      2. Select Run
      3. Follow Prompts to Install
      • For Mac
        1. Select Download for WRF
        2. Double click on WebEx Player Package
        3. Follow prompts to install
        4. Admin rights may be needed

    Disable the meeting recording

    1. Select the More (...) icon for the recording you want to disable.
    2. Select Disable. A download dialog box appears.
    3. Select OK.

    Reassign the meeting recording to another host

    1. Select the More (...) icon for the recording you want to reassign.
    2. Select Reassign. A download dialog box appears.
    3. Follow the on-screen prompts.

    Delete the meeting recording off the server

    1. Select the More (...) icon for the recording you want to delete.
    2. Select Delete.
    3. Select OK.

    Set security and access settings for meeting a recording

    1. Select the More (...) icon for the recording you want to edit.
    2. Select Modify.
    3. In the Access Settings section you can:
          • Enter and confirm password.
          • Select Require users to sign in.
          • Select Prevent downloading.
